As if dragons and draugr weren’t tricky enough, Skyrim unleashed a host of new ways to die. Find out what can kill you—plus J.J. Abrams‘ latest project and the Game of Thrones actors getting married offscreen—in this week’s Geek in Review.

The Expanded CV

J.J. Abrams‘ list of projects keeps growing: Earlier this month, Lucasfilm announced that he would helm Star Wars: Episode IX—and this week, Paramount Pictures and Toho Co. Ltd said Abrams will produce a live-action adaptation of last year’s anime hit Your Name, which follows two Japanese teenagers as their lives become intertwined.

Not Dead Yet

Red Dead Redemption 2 just got a little realer. After nearly a year without an update, publisher Rockstar Games released a new trailer. While there’s no release date for the game yet, the trailer confirms that the second installment of the series is a prequel to the original game and follows “outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.” Check it out below.

Blade Runner Bebop

Blade Runner: Black Out 2022, a 15-minute anime that bridges the 30-year gap between the original Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 (October 6), is now available on streaming site Crunchyroll. The short is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, best known for 1998’s Cowboy Bebop.

Fus Ro Dang

Video game publisher Bethesda announced that a survival mode is coming to the popular fantasy/action role-playing game Skyrim. Available early next month, the update includes new, fun ways to die: Characters can take damage from cold, hunger, exhaustion—and a litany of other things. Part of Bethesda’s Creation Club, anyone can play “free for one week,” but after that, you have to pay.

You Know Something, Jon Snow

Let’s hope these nuptials go over better than the Red Wedding: Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington and Rose Leslie announced their engagement on Wednesday. The pair, both 30, met in 2011 while filming the second season of the show where they played adversaries-turned-sweethearts Jon Snow and Ygritte.
