Michael Crabtree didn’t practice Friday while nursing a chest injury suffered last Sunday against Washington. He is questionable for Sunday’s 1:25 p.m. PST kickoff in Denver.
Crabtree was limited on Wednesday and Thursday in practice but was downgraded to a DNP on Friday. Cornerback Gareon Conley (shin) and safety Keith McGill II (foot) were also limited on Friday and are questionable for Sunday.
When asked if he wanted to address whether missing practice was a setback for Crabtree, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said, “No. Don’t want to go into it.”
Crabtree has played in 51 straight games and 35 straight as a Raider despite a finger dislocation last season. When asked about Crabtree and the infamous chain-gate between them by Denver reporters, Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib said, “I’m not worried about ‘Crab boy’s chain. I’m not worried about any of that. I’m worried about what routes these guys are running, what concepts these guys are running and stuff like that. So that’s the last thing I’m worried about.
Cornerback Sean Smith didn’t practice Friday due to his morning court appearance in Pasadena but is good to go for Sunday, Del Rio said. Smith pled not guilty to felony assault/battery charges stemming from a July 4 incident between him and his sister’s boyfriend.
Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer (knee) is the only questionable player on their side.
