Jane Fonda’s press tour for her new movie co-starring Robert Redford didn’t end when Jane gave us the Crinkled Brow That Launched a Thousand Ships on Megyn Kelly Today. Jane and Bob kept it moving and a few hours later they appeared on Entertainment Tonight Canada where Jane explained what was going through her mind when Megyn asked about her mug.

Jane told ET Canada:

“Given the fact that we don’t have a lot of time and [Robert Redford] is right here, it’s a weird thing to bring up – whether I’ve had plastic surgery or not. I have and I’ve talked about it. Seemed like the wrong time and place to ask that question.

Agreed, Jane. But my question is why explain when the look says it all? Jane Fonda proved she can still give someone a deadly “are you being serious right now, bitch” death stare despite having had plastic surgery.

Here, once more for the people in the back.

If you think Jane Fonda is fucking with some bargain basement Calabasas quack then you have lost your damn mind. Jane’s surgeon is very, very good. At 79, Jane is a legend and has never been The One. Lesson to all: Do not come at Jane on some bullshit, she’s about business.

ET Canada also asked Robert Redford about the incident. Bob said :

“It didn’t involve me. Of course, I haven’t had [plastic surgery],” he admitted. “I think Jane didn’t want to go there. I think she didn’t want to have the show turn into about her, her surgery or her look. It was about the quality of the performance.” Adding, “I wasn’t paying a lot of attention.”

That useless, shady goober! Good thing Jane doesn’t need Bob to defend her honor or to be honest about his own aging visage. He’s lucky he’s got Jane to do the heavy lifting while he sits there taking open-eyed naps and dreaming about new ways to sell overpriced fringed jackets and turquoise jewelry.
